What if we restrict it to atleast 55% shooting?

    LeBron 2/17

    Kobe 0/30

Anyone can play with the numbers to make them look better

Problem is if we look at vs. #1 defenses instead of 50 win teams, we see Kobe's efficiency crater

There isnt always strong correlation between wins and team defense

So OP wants us to give Kobe credit for shooting 45% against the D'antoni Suns

I did not include Kobe's 96-99 series, mostly because Kobe shot 50% in 98 against the 61 win Sonics (averaging 3.7 points).
Fair enough, you did play with the numbers but it was just to show how good Kobe has been able to shoot over longer periods of time. I'm always down for semi-specific stats as long as they aren't crap ESPN puts out like consecutive games with at least one corner three made in the first half (not sure they've ever done that, but you get my point), these are fine though, good work

Oh, I thought Lebron fans saw 45% shooting as the absolute minimally acceptable efficiency for a player, and that it was embarrassing for Kobe to go under that for his career.

    My bad.

What if we look at them vs. Top ranked defenses or against Finals opponents?

Do you realize you're basically giving Kobe the same credit for shooting 45% against D'antonis Suns, as LeBron gets for shooting 45%+ against the Pacers, Magic, Spurs

Hey, I give credit to Lebron for shooting 47% against the 2011 Mavs (his most embarrassing series).

So it works both ways kiddo.
