2008 Celtics vs. 2012/13 Heat

An older, much more hurt 2012 Celtics with a terrible bench brought the Heat to seven games. Enough said.

Bosh was out for like 4 of those games.

While my brain says the Celtics, I think it probably could've go 6 or seven games. The Hawks and a lesser Cavs team took the Celts to seven games and almost beat them. I do think the Celts would win, but it depends on who have homecourt as well since for a long time it seems like the Celts couldn't win a road game that year. I wouldn't be surprise if the Heat won either since Lebron was better than he was in 2008 and had better teammates than that Cavs team despite the injuries, but I think it's more likely for the Celts to win.

People do remember Bosh missed a majority of the games in the '12 series right? I'm going with the Heat. That C's team struggled with a garbage Hawks and Cavs team.

Bosh was hurt for most of series and didnt start a single game. And he is way more relevant than any hurt celtics player to that Heat team who was already small.

he posted some ECSF stats acting like Lebron played well and that it should be a reason to believe the HEAT could beat the Celtics, when Lebron played like ass that series and could have made the finals if he was able to convert his shots at a 40% rate

The '08 Celtics have to be one of the most overrated teams. They were a great defensive team, but they weren't an elite offensive team. 7 games against the 37 win Hawks and 7 games agains the LeBron Cav's.

Considering that LeBron is MUCH better than he was in '08, along with a much better supporting cast in Wade, Bosh, Battier, and Allen, I can honestly see the Heat winning in 6/7. Could go either way though.
