Noah, Taj Gibson, Luol Deng & the Bobcats 2012 first round draft pick.

Leaves the Bulls with this (assuming they sign Rip Hamilton)

    Dwight Howard
    Carlos Boozer
    Ronnie Brewer
    Rip Hamilton
    Derrick Rose

Korver, Asik, Crawford and CJ Watson off the bench.

As a Bulls fan myself, I have to say your post is crazy. I love Noah too but for Dwight freakin' Howard I would go and pack up Noah's bags myself.

I was thinking along the lines of what you suggested (just didn't know about the 'Cats 1st rd pick).

    I'd think Noah+Deng+Asik+pick.

If I am the Bulls, I'd hold onto Gibson, he performed pretty well as a backup and even better as a starter when Boozer was hurt. For some reason people really like Asik (Bulls fans/Eastern conference guys care to share why?).

I read this article earlier and was surprised no one posted it.

I wish there was a way we could keep Noah in a deal. One of the few things Noah has that I dont see in Howard is competitiveness. He is so fiery, hates to lose, and is a more serious player then I have seen compared to Howard.

And people like Asik because he is our DeAndre Jordan. Guy just matured and developed so quickly in his rookie year. Tough as nails and not afraid to get dirty. Started to get more confident and bully his way near the rim as the season wore on.

Asik was either the greatest defensive power in the league or a statistical anomoly. Probably somewhere in between but he is insanely good defensively and solid hands, touch and body control offensively. He is decidedly a starting calibur player in this league. Chicago's depth at the 4 is AMAZING. Noah, Boozer, Taj and Asik should all be starting in this league. Trade a few of them, Deng, and an actually valuable draft pick and I think you have traded Orl 4 starters. Certainly a better package than a chronically injured Bynum...

Maybe if they had a third team to dump some salaries one... but otherwise I don't see it.
Who can offer better? The lakers if they were to offer both bynum and gasol I guess. But gasol is 32 and bynum has had major knee surgery on both knees. The magic would be looking to rebuild in 2 years. The nets with brook lopez and some picks? What does dallas have?

The bulls have talented establish young players.

    Thanks for the insight.

So then, Bulls fans, which would you do:

Noah + Deng + Gibson + Charlotte pick

    or

Noah + Deng + Asik + Charlotte pick

Or do you drop Noah, make it Boozer and drop either the pick OR the 2nd big man?

Noah and Deng's contracts are awful though. No way Orlando picks up those two (or probably either one) when they're trying to rebuild. They're not exactly guys who you can build your team around either. Yeah, they can offer young guys, but LA can get rid of Hedo's contract, and NJ might be able to too.

I'm not going to look up contracts...

I would try to keep Deng and get rid of Boozer. Gibson is a legit starter in this league, anyway.

Looks like it could include ONE of Deng/Boozer/Noah + Korver + one of the young big men + pick.

    Just for Howard.

If they want to absorb Hedo + Howard, Deng + Boozer/Noah + Korver + big man.

Or, if the Bulls want to get frisky, move Noah + Boozer + Korver. Keep Deng, two big men. Add pick. Could work.
