    Default Warriors bench STARS

Iggy - would be starter a lot of teams, solid 2nd option on bad teams
Livingston - started under Kidd before GSW
Ezeli - would start a bunch of teams

GSW are playing 3 starter quality players of the bench. I don't think there's ever been a team with such a strong bench.

96 Bulls had only Kukoc off the bench who would start.

It gets overlooked, Livingston is actually a starting caliber point guard and not in the worst echelon.

Iggy averaged 13-5-5-2 in his last season with Denver.

GSW have TWO 6th man of the year candidates.

Has there ever been such a stacked bench?

Cavs entire bench could easily be starters on other teams, and their 3rd string PG dropped 50 in a game last year

Seriously. Frye and Mozgov don't even get to play despite being starters earlier in this season.

They're getting their assess handed to them by the Warriors bench right now.

    Livingston >>>> Delly
    Iggy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> RJ
    Barbosa > Shumpert
    Ezeli >>> Frye
Mo >>> whatever else is left for Cle...

And their best bench player was getting ~10 min per game for Orlando a few months ago.

Mo shouldn't be in the NBA any more.

It's not as exaggerated as OP tried to make it but GSW has a very strong bench indeed.

Iggy could be an all star in the East. Let that sink in.

So why is he only making 2.1mil and coming off the bench? Why not get the max as a starter somewhere else?

Barbosa's shooting 78.6% coming off the bench. Why don't they sit Klay and start Leondro?

Mozgov was one of the worst players in the league in RAPM this year. He had knee surgery during the offseason and simply NEVER regained his form. Sure, the Cavs gave him every opportunity to work the rust off, it just never happened and eventually he fell out of the rotation.

Frye was playing 17 min/game for the Magic. He was barely a role player for a lottery team.

Could be? He WAS an all-star in the East.

The luxury of an FMVP/all-star coming off the bench on your team. What a time.

Wow, I never agree with OP....but I do now.

Many finals winning teams have had stacked benches....that's part of being a great team. Which great teams had bad benches?

Bulls had 3 of the greatest defensive players of all time. That's pretty good. But going back look at the Celtics and Lakers. Those teams were way more stacked than anything in the league today.

    Bulls 1996

    Bill Wennington
    Jason Caffey (rookie)
    Jud Buechler
    Dickie Simpkins
    Randy Brown

Yeah, safe to say that's not Iggy, Ezeli, Barbosa, Livingston.
