Wizards would have a tough decision to make because why would they take Griffin when they just resigned Antawn Jamison and still have Andray Blatche.
For the idiot who says putting Jamison at SF with Butler at SG I'm just telling you early that you are an idiot.
If the Wizards got the #1 pick I think they'd package it with Antonio Daniels(2009 expirer) and/or Etan Thomas(2009 expirer) and deal for a SG or a C.
I'd say you keep the number 1 overall pick (although doing that worked wonders for them last time around) and take Griffin. The kid's only going to be 20 years old at the start of next season (where as Jamison will 33), so he won't be ready necessarily. Then you move Haywood, Thomas, and Daniels (all expirers at that point) for a point guard and another swing player, not a start per se but solid rotation players. They'd start McGee and Jamison at the bigs (assuming that McGee has come along properly) and bring Blatche and Songalia off the bench, depending on how well Griffin looks (that's their four man rotation now at the bigs as Thomas looks to be relegated to the end of the bench now). Eventually you'd move Jamison to the bench (not next season but say the season after that) and use him as a scoring punch off the bench. That's what I'd do anyway, assuming that they get the first pick in the draft and you can convince Polin to spend a little bit of money.
They didnt look like they were tanking against the rockets. it took a 14 points in 5 minutes burst by tracy mcgrady to put them away. i dont think there tanking whatsoever.
They're not, they just can't close. Aside from the Orlando game, they've been in every game down the stretch and have wilted under pressure in the last 5 minutes or less in every game. Their offense stalls and it becomes a struggle (putting it mildly) to score points late in games.
Jennings doesn't start on his Euroleague team. He also doesn't even run the offense or make any decisions, Becirovic does. He is also clearly not as good as Becirovic. You can watch their games online.
Rubio is injured and not playing but he is clearly the lead player of his team.
Lets see he is a good passer, and average shooter who plays poor man to man defense. Sounds like Calderon to me (Calderon is a much better passer however).
Ok have you decided to post completely morontic **** coming out of your ass after you got your homo avatar(of which you jerk off to) now? Or have you always posted this terribly? You obviously know nothing about basketball and base your facts off stats/your own opinion and you dont watch the game itself.
Probably tanking for Mullens, I saw him in person Thursday and although he had an unspectacular game and has a lot to learn, his body and potential make him the #1 pick next year IMO, he's quick and agile for a big and can shoot a little too. Also the dude can throw it down with the best of em.
