As great as the Spurs have been in the regular season, they never even made it to 2 straight Finals. If Miami wins 3 straight, they'd already have 4 Finals appearances & 3 rings, 1 Finals appearance & 1 ring shy of what the Spurs have accomplished in 15 years, while the Big 3 was formed just 4 years ago.

No one's topping the 90s Bulls or the 2000-2010 Lakers.

it's ridiculous in your opinion to mention the Lakers who made 7 finals and won 5 titles in their decade but you're totally ok with the Bulls who won 6 titles and made 6 finals in their decade..

You're right, you can't group them. The 00-02 Lakers were a diff beast to that of the 08-11 Lakers. In my opinion, we cannot consider them one single dynasty because the core changed. If the Heat win it all this year, then they rank on par with the 00-02 Lakers. If they lose at any point other than the Finals, then they rank just below the 08-11 Lakers. A lot is at stake here ;)

Lumping the 00-02 Lakers with the 08-10 Lakers would be like lumping the 06 Heat with the 11-14 Heat. Way too much time in between passed and too many of the major players changed.

I still think the 3peat Lakers would beat the Heat. Especially the '13 and '14 Heat. That team had PEAK Shaq. Dude was flat out nasty in the playoffs and Kobe also was at his defensive best.
