I'm tired of people treating Cancer like it's one disease.

AIDs is kind of already cured. Antiretroviral cocktails will keep your CD4 count at normal levels and your HIV titers will be undetectable.

Cancer on the other hand is ridiculous. Certain cancers (pancreatic, bile duct, esophageal) kill you within a year of diagnosis as high as 95% of the time. We're making ridiculous progress with radiation, chemo, and even surgical procedures, but we're way closer to trivializing AIDS than we are to "cancer"
