Maybe Phil will keep Melo in NY. Seems likely, Melo's got mad respect for the guy.

Hopefully Phil asks Melo to go to the Celtics for cheap.

Amare wants to have a conversation with Phil.
"From a basketball standpoint, he's a great mind to dissect," Stoudemire said. "And also from a spiritual standpoint, he is known as the Zen guy, so that would be great to sit down and have a great conversation with him."

Phil Jackson carries this gravitas with him that influences those around him. Jim Buss made a grave mistake when he chose D'Antoni over Phil Jackson. Should he have opted for the latter, Dwight would have stayed and Kobe's chemistry with Dwight would have flourished. But such is life.

What does it matter? He is going to Chicago, Houston, and Miami next year anyway.

This is like his 10th season, changing his game is very unlikely.

He's one of the best offensive scorers in the game, Top 3 scorers. He just needs a smarter GM to build a good team around him. Or go to a team who is missing that go-to scorer to get to the top, i.e. Chicago.

Right because he was so good at getting Shaq and Kobe to play along... oh wait, he wasn't. he even admitted he fanned the flames...

He later admitted he was wrong but still, the damage was done

"Melo will make big changes, in the past where he would jack up shots without even looking for an open team mate now he will look for the open man, ignore him, and then jack up the shot anyway"
