3-0

Durant hits a bailout jumper.. 3-1... Durant hits another bailout jumper... 3-2... Durant misses a bailout jumper... MJ gets ball and scores 3 more times in the same fashion as the first 3.

6-2

Durant gets the ball and hits a bailout jumper... 6-3... Durant hits another bailout jumper.. 6-4... Durant misses bailout jumper.

MJ gets ball... Durant plays off him now because of the previous 6 drives to the rack... MJ starts draining jumper after jumper... Durant hits a couple more bailouts in between, but the game ends 11-6 in MJ's favor.

Bailout jumpshots aren't going to beat MJ.. Period... There's a TON Of guys that would play MJ better 1-on-1... Bird, Dantley, King, English, Vandeweghe - just a ton of guys that were experts on the post and from the triple-threat, so they didn't need bailouts shots as their primary offense like Durant.

Are you serious right now?

The current league and Golden State's offensive system and pace plays into Curry's career high 24 to 25 ppg.

Iverson would be at 30 ppg on 45% from the field at least in this league. AI scored way more volume in a physically tougher and slower era. He's obviously the superior scorer to Curry. Not necessarily the better shooter.
Theres a reason why curry can win but ai cant. Because the shorter you are, the more important having a jumpshot is. Its easier to stop ai than curry because he is paint dependent like bran. Meanwhile curry doesnt need the paint. Hes even guarded like shaq in the 3pt line and you think ai is a better scorer. Ai could only dream of winning 67 in a tough conference coz hes too easy to stop

Durant's tall but the speed of the smaller guys(especially their lateral quickness) would give him a lot of problems.

"Bailout" shots...

Here's the thing. THEY'RE NOT BAIL OUT SHOTS.

If Jordan was taking those shots then yes... that would be a bailout. Because he's not close to the shooter KD is.

For KD those aren't bailout shots, they're ****ing layups. That's the point here... we're dealing with the most unique and gifted player in the history of the sport. Jordan was good, but KD is just downright scary.

It's not even a fair match up. Durant wins 10 times out of 10.
