Two players individually were arguably better ... LeBron / Wade.

The rest of these guys on the lists won MVP, unquestionably were the best player in the game, and won a chip as the clear cut Finals MVP. With dominant playoff runs.

Now if 2006 to 2008 Kobe won a ring, Finals MVP along with an MVP then he would deserve to be in this convo. Like MJ's 1992 and LeBron's 2012 he also had a chance for a gold medal too.
