It's harder for NCAA players to get high % shots because the players are inferior, and there is no Def. 3-Sec. rule. It has nothing to do with the individual ability of players to defend. The NBA has the best defensive players in the World, and by a wide margin. That's why we see U.S.A. Teams comprised completely of NBA players dominate defensively on the International stage.

And Team USA is pretty much a JOKE on defense in every single tournament.

There is some truth in just about everything said on either side of the debate. Still, I don't understand why people say NBA RULZ LOL COLLEGE.

It's not really that different and yea I say that with a straight face. The skill level, I mean. At the top, sure, but I think role players in college can make a much larger contribution.

It's an interesting point to bring up jealousy, too. I think a lot of people subconsciously feel the NBA players don't deserve to be making millions, that they are just dumb dudes playing a child's game. Because of that, they can more easily appreciate college because they are, for the most part, living a similar or lesser life than them.

That shit is funny, too... all they do is pass the ball around for 30 seconds and shoot a 3 haha. It's hilarious because people believe it and the fact that it's really not true. I could see passing around for 15 seconds and shooting a 3, but whenever the shot clock gets under a certain point, even in college, it becomes 'create your own shot' NBA-like bball. That is unless you're watching schools that just have ass teams.

It's amazing to think that any level of defense could stop a team from shooting for 30 seconds. More like they are obsessed with finding a better shot. For me, I think that a team should let it fly often. As an Illinois fan, I liked Bruce Weber when he had the players who weren't scared to defy his system... but when he got players who were afraid to take a bad shot, then it became similar to that passing BS.

College is better than NBA for the same reason amateur porn is better. Bro.

The worst part about college basketball IMO is the officiating. Man it's terrible. It's worse than the NBA. I also hate that you can call a timeout on defense after a made basket. And they should reduce the shot clock to speed the game up. The quality of ball is not as good as the NBA because they are not pros. I enjoy college ball for the most part, but it's not better than the NBA.
