This is a perfect metaphor for the male treatment of women. Men pick up the basketballs(females) and try to get them through the hoops which is representative of sex. Even when the game is over, the male still tries to get the balls threw the other hoop which could be equivalent to rape. I'm not at all surprised that the other males didn't speak out over his apparent rule breaking. Something about the Y chromosome turns what would have been a woman into a raping neanderthal.
