Default What would it do for Lebrons legacy if the Heat make it to the finals?

If they made it next season w/o him

Same thing as Jordan's when Chicago was still a contender during his base hiatus.

Not enough context to answer this question.

So I'll say that ISH will tear him apart because it'd happen either way.

You'd have a loooooot of "LeBron had SOO MUCH HELP!" "Most stacked team of all time!" threads

In all reality it comes down to Wade's health. A healthy and motivated Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with role players take this team to the Finals.

From your lips to God's ears.

See you in the ECFs, LeBron.

If Wade wins another and gets FMVP, omg...

    4 rings...2 without Lebron
    Lebron 2 rings...0 without Wade

Biggest legacy boost ever for a player after 1 year. Top 15?

I don't recall those Bulls playing in the Finals that year.

It would lend credence to the theory that the Heat were stacked, just as the 94' Bulls did--but it won't significantly alter LeBron's legacy just as no one holds the Bulls replacing MJ with a D-leaguer and remaining elite against him. If the Heat win 40-45 games that enhances LeBron, though, because it shatters the "stacked" theory that LeBron critics use to diminish his Miami achievements.

Damn sorry man but there comes a point in time where you have to say that it is age and not health.

Or there comes a point in time where you realize your player is so old that he will never be able to stay healthy any more playing the style of bball he does.

And it seems that this is the case with Wade.

I don't think Wade can be the #1 option on a finals team anymore..He can be at times though. I do think Bosh can be. I think Bosh is underrated.

Always bitching about that call . The Bulls were fortunate not to be down 3-0 in that series. The Knicks were clearly superior, and the Bulls were not elite.

The Heat getting to the Finals would be a far bigger deal than what the 1994 Bulls accomplished.

The Bulls were also unfortunate not to be up 3-0 in that series. They blew double digit fourth quarter leads in New York in the first two games. The Knicks were clearly superior? 57 wins versus 55. 4-3 series, with three Knicks wins coming by 1*, 4, and 5. Chicago actually outscored New York in the series.

Yeah, the Heat getting to the Finals would be since the Bulls didn't get there due to Hollins. Still, it wouldn't have much of an impact on LeBron's legacy just as MJ being on a stacked team does not affect him.

I'm going to go the other way and say neither team will make it that far.

How do you figure? The Heat only won 54 last year. So LeBron's legacy would be enhanced because they won 10 games less next year?

LeBron's 2009 and 2010 Cavs teams won more games than all but one of the big 3 era Heat teams.

    It's a meaningless criterion.
