2009 was a big year for Lebron James in the playoffs but obviously you don't know these things.

He had the highest all-time PER and WS/48 in NBA history among players that played at least three rounds. Look it up. You're welcome. Gasol edged Kobe too so stay woke newbie.

But you're okay with Kobe being more valuable than Shaq in 2002 right?

If lebron lost to a strong cast than it's not that bad. But if you lose to a weak team, it's a 100% stat pad

Lebron lost to a weak team!!

Lebron lost to a weak cast so it was the goat stat pad

His team had to play a worse brand than Dwight Howard's team for lebron to get those stats

Why was Lebron's 2-star cast crushed in 17', but Harden 1-star cast almost won in 18?

Apparently, lebron's team underachieved and wasn't hopelessly outmatched like everyone said

Ultimately, lebron doesn't get knocked for his team underachieving, whether it's losing as the favorite from 09-11, missing the playoffs in 05' with an all-star center, underperforming harden's squad against these warriors, or record blowout in 14' despite even odds and 3 HOF teammates

OP took all this time to write up his post, only to prove he's retarded.

"Kobe beats Shaq in 2002 but loses to Gasol in 2009 so he still ends up with 2 Playoff/FMVPs." Nikka he beat him out in 2001 and doesn't have a single other one on the list, you can't even take the time to look over your own post and realize how ****ing stupid you are.

This thread is dumb to being with (since players can and have had more games played than those on the actual winning team, thus higher winshares, e.g a player who doesn't make the Finals but goes 7 games in every series prior to it).

    gasol didn't average 29ppg. he averaged 19ppg

when you're the top defender and top playmaker while averaging the same points.. you're the top player period

especially when you're driving and spoon feeding both bigs
