Let's all be honest here - if Jeremy Lin were black, there's no way anyone would consider that dunk of the decade, much less dunk of the year. I don't mean to rain on the Jeremy Lin parade going on up in here, but come on guys, at best that was dunk of the day.

I think it's great this guy is playing amongst the world's best at the sport. He's a superb addition to the league, for obvious reasons (jersey sales will be ^), and he's great for the game of basketball. Take notice, I have nothing against the guy, I just thought the idea of this being some type of one in a million dunk, was a bit silly.

Considering how popular the NBA and basketball is in the Far East (and continues to boom), they need a hero. Especially since the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty fell, and his career was derailed. I was a huge fan of Yao, and like I said, I have nothing against Lin, but he hasn't exactly grabbed my full attention (yet).
