And the eating.. He had a tough time keeping in shape too. He was great in his prime.. just a waste of talent. He could've had a Rasheed Wallace type of career (with less technicals though )- being a stellar starting PF and few time all star on some good teams. Regarding that comparison - Baker was better offensively and not as good defensively.

Prime Vin Baker was more productive than Sheed ever was. I'd rather compare him to Elton Brand in terms of impact and performance

He was a pretty good player. he averaged 22/11 in his last season with the Bucks.

He was still a very productive player for the Sonics.

From 1995-98 he was an nba all star, and averaged 21/11. His productions went down after he became an alcoholic.

I remember Baker pushing the ball in transition off a rebound regularly and that he had a good looking pullup jumpshot. Baker and Robinson was dubbed as a good up and coming duo before he got traded.

Probably a top 15 player, which is about what he was before he started having problems.

He was traded for Kemp and the Sonics thought they were getting the better of the deal (same on court production without off court shenanigans was their reasoning). The Sonics slightly improved with him (61 wins versus 57) instead of Kemp, who gets a lot of hype that Baker doesn't because people aren't watching Baker dunk highlights on YouTube.
