Default Re: is Barbosa that much better then marcus Banks?

Barbosa understands the Suns' up-tempo system and run-and-gun style much better than Banks (which is natural given that he's been playing in it for four years), and he has improved as a passer, averaging 4.0 assists per game last season after never having reached 3.0 previously. Most of all, he's a superior shooter to Banks, shooting a career .472 from the field, .418 on threes, and .804 from the free throw line, to Banks' .427, .316, and .770, respectively.

Banks is the superior defender and could use regular minutes. However, there is no question that Barbosa is the more talented, productive, and effective offensive force.
