Default Cleveland Leads NBA In Alley-Oops Since Mozgov Trade...R.I.P. Lob City

...R.I.P. Lob City, the rising of Lobland has commenced.

When you have a player the caliber of Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star forward LeBron James on your team the likelihood of converting on alley-oop attempts rises significantly.

However, it was the acquisition of another player outside of James that has helped Cleveland provide a spike in their number of successful alley-oops as the Cavaliers lead the league in that category since trading for starting center Timofey Mozgov.

Since Mozgov joined Cleveland's roster on January 9th the disparity between the Cavaliers and the rest of the NBA isn't even close as Cleveland had nearly recorded 30 more alley-oops than the next closest team.

With that being the case, it seems as though Lob City may have taken up a new residence in Northeast Ohio.

What does this have to do with Mozgov? What's been the difference?

Mozgov actually has a presence down low, Varejao never has. Not to mention he's part of those alley-oops as well.
