Navarro would've been a great NBA player. A 6th man/roleplayer, who could give any team a scoring boost. The situation for him in Europe was better and his decision made sense. I think he fits the European type game better, so good for him. He's definitely got NBA talent

Spanoulis is overated player like he showed yest where he got schooled by Calathes and he would suck in NBA like he did first time.

And to somebody who was responding to this retard, giricek in CSKA and in Cibona was a star, he went in NBA as at that moment best guard in Europe, later in turkey he was injured and at the end of his career which he ended this season after another injury, and May is more of a bench warmer in Galatasaray, 4th big in rotation and is still with the club only beacuse Turkcan got injured, back in february he was on his way out beacuse he absloutly sucks

    Jannero Pargo

6th man, started 5 games with NO before going to Europe.

    Gordon Giricek

10th man, started 0 games with the Ssuns before goine to Europe. Not a 6th man, nor a starter (11 games).

    Sean May

Became an unrestricted FA when Charlotte declined to make him an offer (he spent most of the last season with them on the injured list after being deemed physically unfit to play, meaning he was/is a fat ****). The year after he played 331 minutes in 37 games for the Kings, the 14th most for the team that year. He started 4 games. The year before leaving for Europe he signed with the Nets but broke his foot a week after signing and was released. Not a 6th man, nor a starter (11 games).

    Bostjan Nachbar

was sixth man for the Nets. Played sicth most minutes but started only once.

"never seen an NBA star go to Europe in his prime"......

    BULL SHIT

Wilkins and Radja did and neither one "dominated" anything. They were among the very best players, but they sure the hell were nothing remotely resembling "dominant".

You don't know anything about basketball.
Wilkins was clearly on his way down when he signed with Panathinaikos. He went from being a 26+pts/game scorer to just 17 with the Celtics. He was close to 37 years old the year he signed in Greece. That's not his prime. However, in Europe he dominated. He led Panathinaikos to a championship, averaged 20 pts and over 7 rebounds, he was named the Finals MVP, won the cup and was named the MVP once again. That's damn close to dominating.

Dino Radja was 32 when he returned to Europe. He was also past his prime, seeing as he failed his physical after being traded to Philly. Far from being in his 'prime'.

Thanks for the info. I knew about Giricek.. but I had no clue how May was doing honestly I just checked the team's depth chard and he was listed as the 2nd PF.. he actually got some minutes as well, so I figured I could use that to prove Lakas wrong

    Wrong.

Every single one of them were starters or 6th men on NBA teams, usually playoff teams.

Every single one of them had contract offers from NBA teams. Every single one of them became scrubs in Euroleague.

And there are plenty other such examples.

Radja averaged in NBA 15/7, 17/9, 20/10 and 14/8 (17/8 career) before going to Europe.

Wilkins averaged 18 in the NBA before and after going to Europe and 20 in Europe in between that.

Wilkins did not "dominate" crap at Panathinaikos. He played in a super team with other stars like Alvertis, Ekonomou, Vrankovic, Giannakis and was just one of many in the team. He sure the hell was not "dominant". He replaced Galis on the team, the guy that averaged 37 points a game and Wilkins, Galis' replacement averaged 20.

Wow. I learn something new every day in this forum. According to American NBA fans here. Nick Galis "sucked" and could "never play in the NBA", and Wilkins "dominated in Europe".

Never mind that Wilkins averaged 20 a game and the guy he replaced, Galis, averaged 37 a game before him. The basketball knowledge of NBA only fans is truly astonishing.

Wilkins sure "dominated" when he struggled to score against Georgios Sigalas and Olympiacos kicked his and Panathinaikos' ass in the Greek Championship. That was true "domination" as he could not handle the defense of Sigalas and his team lost the Greek playoff series.

Keep up the factual contributions with your twisted and distorted posts that completely distort and manipulate the truth.

Giricek was a starter on NBA playoff teams and a scrub in Euroleague after that.

Spanoulis scored 18 points, had 5 assists, and hit two half court three pointers at the buzzer.........yeah, he sure played like crap. And news flash genius, Spanoulis was not guarding Calathes. Spanoulis was guarding Sato and Tepic, who played like total shit against his defense.

Oh and yeah guess who was guarding Spanoulis and let him get 18 points and 5 assists? Nick Calathes. The same Nick Calathes that guarded Navarro during the Euroleague playoffs and shut him down.

That same Nick Calathes tried to guard Spanoulis and got his ass handed to him.

May does not even play on Galatasary. The mere fact that you don't even know which team May plays on is pretty much proof that you are just trolling here.

No hate but sometimes our mods sucks. I've had threads removed because the mods decide they are provoking, etc. This person though, posts MADE UP news (100%, it's a rumor he created in his mind) for the purpose of being able to argue the NBA sucks, and it's clear he's Lakas, who was banned among other things for spouting nonsense about people being racist. YET the thread remains on and on. And soon he'll start calling people xenophobic and racists for not liking Euroleague, and everyone can say stupid shit. Great thread. Let's sticky it while we are at it.

And yet, all you do is talk endless crap about anything related to Greek basketball. You are such a hypocritical douche bag. Your own club would not be jack squat without all the Greeks in it.

Unlike these American NBA only fans that are ignorant and don't know any better, because they are xenophobic, cocky, arrogant, and have never in their entire lives seen even a single European basketball game...........

you have no excuse for your arrogant and douche like attitude. Your own club is dominated by Greeks and without them would not be crap. There is no excuse for your BS. Grow up.

Meanwhile, Greece is turning out to be the biggest shithole in Europe and has the rest of the EU paying up for the mess and corruption going on there. Be proud.
