It's important that we separate the brutality of war with the beautiful sports we love so much. James has passion for the sport in which he plays, the sport which is so integral to our society, for it is art we can all understand. It is poetry in motion. The grace and beauty of these athletes is displayed on a nightly basis and shows us what is truly great about this sport. It is ballet on hardwood. While we love it so dearly and put all our soul into the outcomes, it is not equatable to the savagery of war, and it never will be. James passion is evident, but his soldiers are in no danger of not coming back from their battle scars.
