They usually just mean since whatever point they choose to cut it off. Like how Kevin love had the 20/10 streak record since like....1978 or some random year that makes him not have it if they count anything before that.

Rondo was so close to a double-triple-double, 1 more bucket and 3 more rebounds. Absolutely nasty game.
