Default Bobcats waive Ben Gordon hours after buyout deadline expires

In a move that seemed inevitable, the Charlotte Bobcats waived little-used veteran shooting guard Ben Gordon Sunday, hours after the deadline for him to be on another team

That's dirty, to deny Gordon the option of playing for another team for this season.

It seems Gordon wouldn't negotiate his salary (hence the term "buyout"), so the Bobcats decided not to do him any favors either.

After all the money he's robbed us of I think it was a very apt move on our part.

The Cats tried and tried to trade Gordon thinking someone must want his expiring contract. No one wanted it because of the baggage that comes with it. So the Cats tried to negotiate a buyout so Ben could move on. Gordon refused to accept less money in order to play for a contender. That's all you need to know about Ben Gordon.

The last locker room cancer has been removed.
