Default Was Kobe robbed of 1998 6th man of the year & most improved player?

Danny Manning won "6th man of the year", averaging 13-4-5.....
    Kobe averaged 15-3-3...

Alan Henderson won "Most Improved Player", averaging 14-6-1... previous season he averaged 7-4-1..... Kobe averaged 15-3-3 and had more steals & blocks than Alan, previous season he averaged 7-1-1

Should Kobe have won these or one of these?

Lebron is a better first option than Kobe

Lebrons only game off the bench...

    27/6/5 goat 6th man..

Kobe was an All-Star with those 15-2.5-3 numbers.

I don't think so. Kobe had a good case, but Danny Manning was overall better imo, mainly because of his scoring efficiency. Kobe definitely had more memorable games that season as a 6th man, though.

Kobe's a great player, but it seems like a ton of people, especially sports writers, just can't stand the guy.
