Celtics are the deepest team in the league
Green and Horford will help provide that consistent scoring that they lacked last year. Smart's shot selection seems to have improved. Almost every player seems capable of 10ppg on a semi consistent basis. I think making it to the second round playoffs is a good goal. Ultimately it is also their downfall not having a star player. Teams like this have to be an all time great defensive team in order to have any real shot.

Isiah Thomas is not a star player? He had a phenomenal last season.

Re: Celtics are the deepest team in the league
With the loss of Turner our bench is untested and unrefined. It won't be elite unless Smart and Rozier take it to another level. Green, Olynyk and Jerebko are be solid, though.
Zeller has shit rhythm unless he gets regular playing time as evidenced by '15-'16 vs. '14-'15 (when he started all season).
We'll see how it goes. Our bench's success hinges on Rozier's ability to seamlessly run the offense with several different line-ups. It's a tall task, but he has time to learn, and he has all the tools. He's a great player in the making.

Well when you pair Gerald Green and consistent scoring together, why would I read on? Especially when I watched his ghastly last season.

he was pretty consistent in Phoenix. He is now with a good coach in a good system. He will be fine.
