Top 5 Arguments for Jordan Over Lebron, both Physically and Skill-Wise:
1) Better hops off a vertical so he scored better in traffic
2) Not just quick for his size, but true guard quickness for > mismatches vs. bigger defenders
3) Goat scoring ability allowed MJ to take on the largest load and attract maximum defensive attention to free up teammates, while Lebron undertook too small a load in the 2014 Finals, causing him to not attract enough defensive attention to facilitate his passing game and free up teammates - Lebron had as many turnovers as assists so his passing added no value to his team in the 2014 Finals.
4) Not only could Jordan take on the aforementioned maximum offensive load to attract maximum defensive attention and free up teammates, but his superior scoring versatility (including off-ball skill) allowed him to take on that maximum load while scoring in whatever capacity allowed star teammates to play to their strengths (i.e. with Jordan off-ball, Pippen was free to be the more ball-dominant point-forward).
5) Factors 1-4 above enabled Jordan to control his own destiny better - translation: 6 for 6:

Funny, because when people claim that guys like Kobe and Carmelo are better scorers than LeBron, his stans always point to his PPG and FG% and say that's all that matters. Why does the manner of scoring suddenly matter when comparing LeBron to Barkley?

Perimeter scorers should be compared together
Barkley should be grouped with Duncan, Malone, Amare
Heck, fine use True Shooting %
Lebron was 65%, was Barkley?
Kobes highest was 57-58%

The thing is, I actually AGREE that it doesn't matter how you score. You're only using the "perimeter scorer" spin to fit your current agenda. The same thing with TS%. The second Durant (or anyone) has a higher TS% you'll be trashing it as a statistic and claiming it's all because of gifted free throws. You LeBron stans are consistently inconsistent.

This is the title of your thread:

I responded by posting Barkley's points and FG%, since that was what you posted in the title.
The only reason you later brought in 3-point percentage is because you weren't expecting Barkley to come up in this discussion. So you then brought in a 3rd requirement.

But LeBron is a Power Forward now...so i brought Barkley into the conversation.
If he wants to play on the perimeter that's his prerogative, but he's a power forward.
Power Forwards should be compared to other Power Forwards.

Lebron was at .649. Barkley was at .665.
Kobe is a shooting guard. LeBron has played Power Forward the last two seasons.
Is he a traditional PF? No. But neither was Barkley.

No one cares about empty stats but Lebron and his stans.

Given that in the 2014 playoffs, the more a team scored per game against the Spurs, the smaller their disadvantage to the Spurs in Ortg - a larger load carried by Lebron, which was feasible by historical standards, was needed..
A larger load seems even more necessary when the Heat accomplished any shooting efficiency goal they had.. They easily shot the best of any Spurs opponent but still had the worst offense and the worst performance.

Winning is the ultimate goal, not stat stuffing.

I honestly wouldn't care. As long as he's getting the points in the same fashion he always does. And not stat padding FG% in garbage time, only taking layups, refusing to shoot, passing in the clutch to Kwame etc etc.
