Andre Ward is just wasting his prime. He needs to fight Sullivan Barrera.

Wilder vs Szpilka will be streaming on youtube. Pretty cool. One thing PBC gets right is archiving their fights on youtube.

Random story, actually ran into Szpilka over the Xmas week, walking his dog. (trained by ronnie shields, lives in houston). asked him about the wilder fight and got super excited. he said hes too fast for him and started throwing hooks to show me

Wilder has absolutely no footwork. There are ten year old kids at my local gym with better footwork than Wilder. He gets away with it due to height/reach/athleticism but any decent heavy who has good technique and a big punch has to be favorite to beat him.

Wilder doesn't look to have learned much of anything to me since acknowledged his flaws after the Stiverne fight. He's undefeated because he's huge, has a punch, and hasn't fought a good boxer yet. Tyson Fury would pick him apart at this point.

You were probably the same guy who said Deontay can't go 12 or take a punch

He's saying that Szpilka is not even in the same level as Tyson Fury, Luiz Ortiz, and Povetkin.

Wilder was getting out boxed by a fighter who just trained for 5 weeks going into this fight.

Ortiz KO Wilder if they fight this year. Ortiz is one of the best southpaws in the heavyweight division, and Wilder just struggled against a southpaw boxer.

I don't think he can take Ortiz punches. He's like a Cuban George Foreman. Ortiz can also move, and a very agile boxer for his size.

Even if you combine Pacquiao and Mayweather boxing resume they won't even surpass Sugar Ray Robinson. SRR beat plenty of hall of famers during their primes, and he was undefeated at his peak. He's arguably the GOAT Welterweight. The greatest boxer of all time.

Castillo beat Mayweather in their first fight. Even in their rematch Floyd barely defeated him.

What do Maidana and Castillo had in common? They know how to cut the ring, and made the fight looks dirty, and ugly for Floyd.

But Castillo was robbed in the first fight 202 punches landed for Castillo, 157 landed punches for Floyd Mayweather. Floyd said that he hurt his shoulder in that fight, but that type of stuff happened in boxing. He only won the 5th round. This is one of the biggest robberies of all time. Even bigger than Danny Garcia over Mauricio Herrera.

I have it 115-111 Castillo after watching the fight again.

Anybody see Tyson Fury's segment on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel?

Not a fan of the guy or his fighting style, but he does have a fascinating story. It would make for a great film.

I love how ward is avoiding Kovalev like the plague but blacks don't want to admit it.

What do blacks have to do with this? And Ward easily outboxes him. Kov might scare him for a round or two, but Ward will win by a wide margin.

Blacks are going nuts that the p4p list is dominated by whites and are crying racism because GGG is the biggest name. They all wanted him to fight Ward but now Ward has to fight Kovalev.

Nah, Ward wouldn't beat Kovalev because his headbutt-grab-punch-grab tactic won't work on a bigger man and not outside of his backyard in Oakland.
