If they don't call it call it The Brooklyn Zoo i will be highly disappointed. Each season the jersey will have a different animal as a mascot.
However,
As a second option, the Brooklyn River Rats sounds just as good

Change it back to New York Nets.
Why would you want to use Brooklyn anyways, it's just a borough?
You don't have Manhattan Knicks or Queens Mets or Bronx Yankees..do you?
Last time they used Brooklyn was with the Dodgers...and they moved across the country to LA.

I just want something unique. No animal names. I'm a proponent of names that're associated with the team's location (such as the Utah Jazz and LA Lakers). I'm having a hard time coming up with something associated with Brooklyn off the top of my head that'd work. Some NY'ers help me out.
