I don't even blame LeBron for 11 as much as I credit the Mavs, but Kobe was not a shitty player in the 08 Finals. That Celtics defense is one of (if not the) best ever, and Kobe wasn't far removed from his peak. Just went up against a superior squad.
If you're going to start a thread like this, why not go with the 04 Pistons? Makes more sense too, since LeBron was 26 at that point, and Kobe turned 26 the summer after.

Good lord, fpliii destroyed this thread. Everything pauk said is backfiring. Not only was Kobe far more efficient, he nearly had the same amount of assists despite Lebron "deferring to a hot Wade."
