All 82 games, 23 minutes a game, over 122 threes made. Don't see why not.

I thought you only had to play in 70 games to count in the official stats? So I see no reason why Kerr's numbers would not count then.
Just another example of ESPN starting more lies and bullshit and the rest of the idiots like TNT going along with it.

You need 125 FTM in order to qualify for FT %

Isn't the rule 70 games played or 125 made? I thought the amount of makes was only for players that failed to play in enough games. So if a player was injured and did not play in 70 games, they could still qualify if they made enough.
I think ESPN is again manipulating stats, just like they do every time they list all these "records", but then it always turns out to actually be the "record" since the 1976-77 season only - but ESPN simply claims they don't consider records before that as actual records.
They do the same thing with NFL "records", if you notice they always list those, but then if you actually checked it, it is always just the records since 1970.
They always try to spin everything to their agendas.

You only have to make 82 threes in a season to qualify. Steve Kerr did this in 96. Korver is not the first to ever do it.

Korver is the first to ever do it, when consider eligibility.
Kerr only shot 2 threes a game... Korver shoots 7 3s a game..
Kerr didn't have enough FTM.

Kerr's season has to count too he played all 82 games and 23 minutes a game is exactly what a 6th man/scoring backup guard would play anyways.
But yea as far as which one is more impressive it's obviously Korver.. 7 attempts a game at 50/50/90.. wow..

Pretty sure this was when the three point line was moved in as well so regardless if Kerr qualifies or not Korver would be the first guy to do it with the longer line.

Re: Korver really first guy to 50/50/90?
League minimums... Kerr didn't reach them.
I believe you gotta make 300 field goals, 55 3pters and 125 FT's... Steve fell short in terms of FG's and FT's.
That's why you don't see him in when they list the 50/40/90 club, or why you never hear about the 50/50/90 club.
Calderon shot 51.9/42.9/90.8 once... And you don't see him in the 50/40/90 club because he didn't make 125 FT's.
And Jose also played all 82 games, to the people mentioning that.
So yea, Korver would be the 1st to do it if he plays 80 games or very close, and keeps doing it at the same pace.
Plus, Kerr did it with the 3pt-line closer to the basket.
However, they shouldn't be saying he made it as of right now, but they gotta create some hype as usual... Let's say if Korver got injured and doesn't play another game, he wouldn't make it as well.
I'm hoping he does, would be pretty cool to have a 50/50/90, shit's crazy.

Korver hasn't even made it yet... What if he goes cold to finish out the season?
