Going back to Raptors is fine. He is very comfortable here since he will eventually beat any other starting PGs standing in front of him anyway.

Won't start over Lowry.

The hell would Orlando want with him? They're rebuilding the right way, they'll have no interest in a 32 year old.

He did get started over Lowry for a period of time. Jose did a lot better off the bench though.

Re: Jose Calderon to explore free agency
Calderon would really help the Mavs but I'd rather see them trade Marion and Vince Carter for younger talent and shoot for the lottery next season. Even if they miraculously make the playoffs this year they are more likely to get swept in the 1st round than they are to win the series.

Game. Set. Match.
Re: Jose Calderon to explore free agency
He's a good PG... just not worth 10mil per. Someone will most certainly offer him at least the MLE.

He's apparently looking for 6-7 mil. That sounds about right.

This.
Then we can start the whole 2 PG's on the court at the same time lineup.

Yeah, let's waste another year of Dirk's prime!

No chance he becomes a Knick. No cap space. Only mini MLE to use (which might go to Copeland?). Unless Jose takes a HUGE pay cut and plays for minimum....not happening.

Because there are players who have heart, who stay and work with the situation they're in. Not all players take their talent to South Beach simply because they're on a losing team.
Now the bad city part, I just don't get. Can you elaborate?
