Decent college freshman
The Heat should be resting their big 3
Spoelstra is gonna look pretty stupid if one of them get injured and misses the postseason.

Please clap.
Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
Wade should get rested from time to time and does. James and Bosh don't have any major issues and people are paying good money to watch them play.

Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
Lebron and Bosh are fine, and they've been resting Wade a lot.

They are. Lebron and Wade just sat out a few days ago....

Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
They effectively are. LeBron only gives true effort every third game, Wade barely plays and Bosh isn't ever really involved in the game plan.

Lebron has played in more games than any other player over the past 8+ years. He could always use some rest.

When Lebron rests too much, his shooting % drops. I think he should just take it easy as he has done on several occasions throughout the season. But otherwise, he and his teammates need to get into the rhythm of having him on the floor for 40 mins per game, as will be the case in the later rounds of the playoffs.
Bigger, older, and less perimeter-based players like TD, or Shaq back in the day, I can understand, but I'm not a fan of the prolonged late-season rest for Lebron.

Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
Heat have a huge problem.
LeBron's gassed and needs to sit, but they can't put that extra load on Wade because of his fragile health.
They also can't sit him because they can't afford to keep giving up ground in the standings, then they will be playing both the conference finals and the finals on the road, and as it is this doesn't look like a team that can win both those series on the road.
If they keep "taking it easy" then teams are going to push them all game long and they're going to keep having to play the 3 of them 35+ minutes on top of it.

I report you
Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
Maybe they should let LeBron sit for the rest of the season, and his stans can in a few years (if they are still around) try to argue that he would have won the MVP if he didn't sit out and that he gracefully gifted it to Durant.

Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
They shouldn't. Home court advantage will be huge for them in the conference finals, and they're only 3 games back.
If Lebron goes berserk for this last stretch of the season and Miami goes undefeated or loses just a game or maybe two, they could snatch it at the last second. Indiana's remaining schedule has some pretty tough games - @ Memphis, @ Chicago, vs Miami, vs San Antonio (2nd of a B2B), @ Miami, @ Toronto, vs Oklahoma City. That's pretty damn difficult, and with the way Indiana has played for the past month or so, I wouldn't put it past them to lose 3-4 out of the 7.

Good college starter
Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
They can't. Home court advantage is what brought the title to them last year, if they can get it again will improve their chances.
-
Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
They should be resting now. This Miami team can go to another level in the playoffs and doesn't need homecourt.
It's time time give big minutes to Beasley and let James Jones and Rashard Lewis earn their paychecks.

Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
You got a player in Lebron that is considered the best in the leage and in his prime and people are suggesting they should rest him?
Don't remember Kobe and MJ getting rested on championship runs.
What is Lebron? 40 years old?

u mad? buttfrustrated?
Re: The Heat should be resting their big 3
HCA is big, but not meeting the bulls who wear the *** out of teams in playoffs would be good for the Heat too. Especially since they have a hardon for the Heat
Take a look at how the brackets go if the Heat just sit comfortably on 2nd:

Kobe never led his team to 3 straight finals runs. Jordan did. LeBron is trying to do 4 straight finals runs this year. That's a lot of mins
