fine, 48% compared to 47% isn't much of a difference, especially since kobe takes so many 3 pointers

did you watch those late jordan games? every time he had a remotely open look he was taking a shot. lucky for him rodman was a great offensive rebounder

comparing field goal percentage is pretty useless....players are expected to shoot way more 3's today, kobe included. and again, he's shooting 47.1% this year, which is technically his most efficient season

This is a poster that gives Jordan fans a good name. Kobe fans should learn to do the same.

You and Jordan kids don't understand the 3-pt shot yet? God...
    Btw MJ's TS% was 53.3 that year.

Again, 55% after the first 15 games where he shot horribly due to the injury (42% FG/71% FT/48% TS the first 15 games as compared to 48% FG/83% FT/55% TS the rest of the season).

Never will be; whatever Kobe was meant to do to basketball, he's already done it.

As a 35 year old, with messed up finger, ligament damage in shooting wrist.

MJ deserved MVP that year, carrying a Pippen less and usually Rodman less Bulls with a roster that was worse in terms of talent than any roster T-Mac, Wade, Kobe, or LeBron had to deal with.

Granted it wasn't a whole season, but he was 35 years old. Him shooting that much with his next best player being Jason Caffey, is world different than shooting 41 times with Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, and Steve Nash on your team.

Jordan only had 8 seasons of ball on his legs when he came back in 96, and the league was much older during the 2nd threepeat than it is now.

Looking at this game in particular, look at what everyone else shot. Isn't that an argument the Kobe d***riders have been using all season?

    Longley - 5/12
    Harper - 2/9
    Brown - 0/5
    Rodman - 1/10
    Kerr - 4/12
    Kukock - 5/13

Whoaaa. Jordan did have another hall of famer on that team in Rodman, who led the league in rebounds. As well as one of the best sixthmen in the league.

Both teams got the W, so I don't really see the problem with either performance. People are too obsessed with FG% on ISH. Kobe hit a bunch of huge shots in the 4th quarter and OT to get his team the win, so what's the problem? If there's 2 guys I'm perfectly okay with taking 35+ shots, it's Kobe and Jordan.

The Bulls minus Jordan shot 30% in that game, the Lakers shot 50%. Believe me, fans of every other team in the league are crossing our fingers that Kobe keeps ignoring the fact that he has 2 of the top 3 or 4 bigmen in the league on his team, as well as a top 5 point guard.

[B]Stop Comparing Kobe to Jordan . Kobe Can Only Do One Thing Better than Jordan and That is Far Range Shooting. Other Than That, Jordan Smokes Bryant In All Aspects of The Game.

Quicker, Faster, Stronger, More Potent, Better Rebounder, Better Inside Game, Better Post Game, Better Passer, Much Better Driver, Penetrator and Finisher and Ofcourse a Fierece Defender, Which Statisticall It Has Been Prooven Kobe Is Not.

Keep Dreaming Kobe Stats and This is the N

All are having better seasons than Howard. Pau isn't even in the discussion. He's averaging like 11 points on 40% shooting. lol at Kobe having 2 of the top 3 big men. Pau was a legit top 3 big man in 2010, but he's a shell of his former self right now. Not even close to what he once was.
