The Spurs team can beat 1996 Bulls team easily. The Spurs in playoffs are 10wins better than their regular season record shows. They are 67 wins in regular season, which means they are as good as a 77 wins team in playoffs. A 77 wins team should have no problem beating a 72 wins team.

I see people are forgetting the 98 Bulls was supposed to lose to the 98 Jazz who was not even as good as this 2016 Spurs team
Utah was up 84-79 late in the 4th of Game 6 and made some bonhead mistakes allowing the Bulls to win. We all know the Bulls was not winning Game 7 at Utah

Yea plus Pippen was done by mid game. Was a shell of himself to even start the game before re injuring his back.
Scottie wouldn't have even been out there for a game 7.
That's why what MJ did carrying Chicago on the road in a make or break game was even more clutch within a larger series context.
