Why is Kawhi allowed to play selfish on the spurs yet no 1 else is allowed.

He averaged 24 PPG in the last 3 games of the Finals (all wins) when he won FMVP. When he turns it on offensively the Spurs have been really damn good.

Out of the all the players in SA right now he can drive to the rim and finish the best and when he posts up his SF defender he's typically stronger then them and he can back em down.

LaMarcus Aldridge has been posted up a fair amount in the 5 games so far, all things considered (they're working him in slowly, but they've isolated him here and there)

Also, Parker is 33, Manu is 38, and Duncan is 39... The young Kawhi is going to get opportunities

The only Spurs who have been above average offensively so far are Manu, Patty and Boris, so we'll have to wait and see.

But I kind of agree with you. He's too streaky and playing ISO ball through Kawhi and Aldridge isn't going to win us a ring (unless we're as good defensively as I think we're capable of and Pop benches Parker in the Playoffs).. He doesn't take too many 'good' shots when he holds the ball and he doesn't know how to reign it in when he goes cold. Look at how he closed out the Clippers series - 5-16, 3-15, 5-13.

I feel as if he is just doing the job Parker and Manu used to do when the offense gets stifled a little and they have no where to go. He isn't a bad option since he is a nice shooter even when contested and has the length to get a decent shot if he goes to the rim.
