HIGH correlation between lean body mass (LBM) and strength

wasting your time if you think you can gain a respectable amount of strength

If you don't wanna put on size

dont work that way

Same goes for bodyweight and strength

You cant lose weight and gain strength at the same time

If you are passed the novice phase and noob gains

Most people who think they gym hard are really still in the novice phase

The only instance in which someone might magically lose fat while gaining

muscle and strength is when they still a novice

When you're a novice you can ****ing do anything and you'll grow

So it IS possible to lose weight and gain strength

But the fact is you're a noob and are in my opinion wasting your time

Trying to do 2 things at once at 50%

when you can put 100% into losing weight first

Then 100% into gaining size and strength

So basically , I have to diet and lose weight till I get to my target weight. Then start lifting. I can't diet + lift at the same time?

Might as well start lifting now. Compound lifts will burn calories.

I suppose you can lift but don't expect much if you intend on losing fat (caloric deficit)

TBH i've always been naturally lean so fat/fat loss has never been much of a topic for me

Anybody else do explosive positives and then slow negatives? That is the most crazy exhausting way to lift let me tell ya.

I've lost 20 pounds and have gone from 15% Body fat to 11% in the past 6 months just by changing my diet up.
