he's simply a superior player in every facet of basketball except chucking. This argument about who is better between the two should come to a halt because lebron is just way superior. Kobe should not be compared to catching up to the GOAT MJ, lebron should. Hell he's already surpassed MJ as a better individual player. But as soon as the Cavs win this finals lebron will cement himself as the greatest of all time.

lebron is also averaging a double double, and close to a 30 point triple double this playoffs. Kobe's numbers look like 30-5-5, lebron's look like 30-10-8.

if he continues this play in the finals, even if he loses, he cements his spot at 9-10...taking over Hakeem's spot without question and handedly threatening Kobe at #9.

nevertheless, Lebron is looking to be in that mode MJ was heading into the 2nd 3peat. he was more on his decline or even plateauing to say at best, but just found ways to consistently dominate when needed, and even topping out to one of the greatest teams ever, even tho not his greatest personal best. definitely wouldn't mind seeing this type of run from Lebron/Cavs going forward.
