Are you going to put an * next to warriors championship?
They had injuries helping them each round.
Are you putting * next to their championship or for you, a championship is a championship no matter what. Which mentality is yours?

No. Asterisks are a ****ing stupid idea. The only people who argue that asterisks belong on championships are shameless agenda whores.

No. It's not the Warriors fault. They play whoever is matched up with them. They can't control shit like injuries.

They've had a lot of luck. Every team they have faced has had significant injuries, particularly at the PG spot.
But they are a historically good team, and would probably beat all of the teams at 100% anyway. A chip is a chip. Asterisks are something people use to try to discredit players they hate.

Asteriks are dumb, a ring is a ring. Gsw cant control the cavs being hurt. But if lebron continues to play well then I put 0 blame on him losing. They were heavy underdogs with kyrie, now he may be down. Already no love or andy v and vs a much better team

the only time I'd put an asterisk is if a team actually cheated to win.
Like buying off the refs, or being caught using performance enhancing drugs.
Tbh the closest asterisk season is the 2002 Lakers
But even though the refs took them past the Kings, we can't really PROVE it, so even they do not get an asterisk.

I don't think the Lakers paid the refs.
It was just the NBA wanting to extend the series.
Is it sill an * for you if it's the NBA cheating for the team? Or it has to be THE TEAM cheating?

That's actually a pretty good ethical question. I'd say probably it has to be the team itself. If a Tim Donaghy helped a team I wouldn't give them an asterisk if it wasn't their fault

Re: Are you going to put an * next to warriors championship?
I'm rooting for GS and I love the way they play defense into offense but I will say they have been very fortunate in the injury department. Also I will say that they are very lucky that they didnt have to face San Antonio in the playoffs. I think that's the only team in the NBA that they would have lost to. Tough match up for them all across the board. Clipps did them a favor
