Props for mentioning Kevin Martin, too.

    Brandon Roy
Dwyane Wade (he'll be in his last year or two of being a star, though)
    Kobe
    Kevin Martin
    player to be determined

I don't think that OJ Mayo will be top five since he's too small and not athletic enough. Eric Gordon looks good, but he seems more like a better Ben Gordon, and I wouldn't even be surprised to see him as a sixth man since he can't rebound or pass that well (the same could be said of Kevin Martin, who has a similar game, but at least Martin's tall enough to guard shooting guards and small forwards). I don't know who else will be in the league five years from now, so it's impossible to make an accurate prediction. Based on the players in the league now, the fifth spot is completely up for grabs.
Yeah, he's 29, 30 in December but he never played a big role on a team or over 30 minutes per game until the 07-08 season. I'm a full believer that age doesn't really matter in the NBA but how many years you log and how many years you played a lot of minutes as well. For instance, Travis Outlaw was the definition of a scrub for his first two seasons so I basically considered him a rookie in his third season. Since 07-08 he has increased his points per game total each year and is now averaging 10 more points a game than his career average. I also say this because I feel he's an all around player. He can grab boards, pass the ball and play some defense which isn't the case with O.J. Mayo and Eric Gordon for the time being.

Basically, John Salmons is 30 playing as a 3rd or 4th year player by my logic. Of course I could always be wrong because most players start to lose their steps around 33-35 so we'll see.

I think the starting SG for the Thunder can be a decent player in 4 years... I wonder why no one has mentioned him.

most people probably don't know his name. can't say that i blame them. he wasn't exactly a dynamic scorer at WSU. very solid defender, and a good all around player, though.
