Default Where to for Rondo now?

Fair too say that today was kind of the end point of his time at Chicago. Benched for most of the game and the coach has indicated it will likely continue

I dont see a single club willing to start him going forward. If I was him id think about going all Marbury on us and heading to China for a quick pay day

Dude doesn't fit anywhere he goes. Didn't fit on the Kings, certainly not the Mavs and doesn't fit here. Still has a bit of talent but is too much of a pain in the ass to deal with.

Dude's a year younger than Chris Paul and isn't even a starting caliber PG anymore. I used to argue against people who were calling him a top 5 PG just 5 years ago.

retirement.

He was only good on the Celtics because he was surrounded by 3 HOF shooters.

I wonder if Rivers would be willing to take him. Doc has been good in getting along with most of his players.
Having a good back up for CP3 doesn't hurt.
If Pierce has one more good playoff left in him.....Redick and Crawford basically replace Ray Allen at the back court, and a healthy Blake and Jordan would benefit from his passes.

Rondo has a massive ego. He would not last long sitting behind CP3. Both of them on court together would be a disaster.

Rondo has always been a headcase but his early success in Boston made it worse. He had the luxury of being baby sit by seasoned HoF veterans and Doc that went out of their way to coddle him. Then he took around this inflated ego everywhere else he went and he could never accept that he wasn't as good as he thought he was, and he definitely wasn't good enough for teams to put up with his temper tantrums and immature attitude on top of his disappointing production.

The game has passed him by.

He can't shoot..you can't be a non shooting pg unless you're a great penetrator. He can't penetrate because he's bad at free throws.

In the 90s he's a high commidity..

I doubt there is one gm out there that seriously thinks signing Rondo would be a good idea.

There is a 99.9 % chance he will cause problems and be a disaster wherever he goes. I can't even imagine what he would do if not given starter minutes
