Default Monta Ellis averaged 19/5/3.5 on 45% for his career

Yet he has never made an all-star team. He has a 25.5/5/4 season in him as well. Players have made all-star teams while barely matching his career output. That's pretty crazy

It's tough as a guard in the western conference since a bunch of retarded idiots around the world always give one spot automatically to my favorite player, kobe, even when he's hurt or doesn't deserve it. And then obviously the competition for the remaining guard spots is always very tough.

Monta Ellis gets no love. He isn't a good defender but hes still good enough on offense that he will help your team. He would be a really good 6th man off the bench for a contender.

Played in the West for most of his career and the team he but that 25/5/4 was on bad Warriors team that was 2nd last in defense.

He'd probably be a fringe all-star in the East if he was on a good team.

would have been a 3-5 time all star if he played his entire career in the east

Played the last two years for the Mavs so I saw him a lot. Total stud. Very good player and underrated defensively. Had the Mavs been able to keep Calderon, while getting Tyson Chandler, I believe he makes last years all star team, has a huge impact in the playoffs, and makes a couple of more based on his image overhaul in Dallas. Instead Dallas has to trade for Rondo and it all fell apart.

George Hill is an amazing fit next to Monta, I think this could be the year for him. Indy is a great fit for Monta.

Pretty messed up when you think about but it is what is it, just the circumstances... At his best he's definitely an all-star caliber player though.

Um, no. His best statistical season is arguably worse than Wade's CAREER averages. If Ellis basically has D-Wade numbers, D-Wade basically has Jordan numbers.

Welcome to the Western Conference. Lots of good guards miss out every year unfortunately.

Gonna be interesting to see how he does on the Pacers, I feel like he can be pretty nice, deserves to be in an all-star game tbh, hope he can get his chance in the East

Averaged? You talk as if he's retired
    You meant :

Monta Ellis averaging 19/5/3.5 on 45% for his career

    or

Monta Ellis has averaged 19/5/3.5 on 45% for his career

Sorry for being a grammar nazi

BTW, I think he's a decent player but I think the stats he puts up are overrated. Not exactly an empty stat guy, but the Warriors got better once he was gone, because it officially became Steph's team.
