if it came down to a choice between the clippers and the knicks the knicks would win in my opinion.

the knicks are a more storied franchise playing in MSG and no matter how bad they have done in the past they still don't carry the stigma the clippers do of being a lousy team

secondly if lebron were to make the move it's because he wants to be in the spotlight and he'd be the headliner in new york and have the spotlight to himself as opposed to having to share the spot light or take a back seat to kobe and the lakers...

the clippers are not even a top 3 attration in la the lakers are the top, then dodgers, angels then maybe the clips although the ducks get alot of air time in LA so it might be a wash there... even when the clipps are doing well they are back page sports news, the LA times has dropped a beat reporter entirely from their pages... the knicks on the other hand still get lots of play in the press and that's what lebron is going to want if he were to leave cleveland

well this trade has its positives and negatives


Positives
it gives you a lengthy defender too complment chris kaman and an athletic frontcourt along with an up coming al thorton so i expect them too be alright
and the didnt give anything except a 2nd rnd pick
Negatives
camby is no elton brand obviously he lacks the offensive talent but i presume kaman, thorton, and "bdiddy" will pick up the load but the only real problem i see is there in the wild wild West they cant compete with that other team in L.A.,San antonio, New orleans, Utah,Houston,Phoneix,Portland but we will see

Clippers have a very nice team now to be honest. They were obviously desperate for another presence downlow with only Kaman left. With Baron Davis, Thornton at the SF, and Mobley/Gordon. This team looks exciting.

As for the Nuggets, they should be ashamed of themselves. Yes, they got rid of 10 million in tax..but at least the Grizzlies got Marc Gasol, Crittenton, AND 2 first rounders when they traded Pau. What the Nuggets get for Camby? Cash and a NON-GUARANTEED 2nd round Pick. That's ridiculous. And I'm not surprised Camby said he was insulted.
