Looks nothing like Sphere. If anything, it resembles Contact more because of the conversations with the Aliens and trying to make peace. That said, I expect it to be great given the director has been awesome so far and has a history of having the most compelling parts of his movies not ruined by trailers.

Contact was a turd. The alien appearing as her father has been mocked ever since its release. At least it led to a great South Park parody.
