Clearly a troll to prove a point.
The MVP is based on media bias/media narratives and the voters are clueless for the most part when it comes to analyzing high level basketball. MVPs and FMVPs are rated a lot higher than they should be.

Hurts Shaq alot more when people state hes the most dominant ever. Not many people expected much out of Kobe. Which is why they kept hating year after year as he continued to improve and pile up rings.

He has to surpass Wade and Iverson first

The rule changes caused league-wide ppg to increase by over 5 points this year, the biggest 1-year change since 1957
DRtg also skyrocketed to a record 110.2, or nearly 2 points higher than any other year
So the rule changes this year cause an asterisk
And compared to Kobe's era, today's teams score 15 more ppg and DRtg is a full 4 points higher.. so assuming kobe scores 35% of his team's points (his 06' level), Kobe would score 5 more ppg today, based on today's teams scoring 15 ppg more than his era

If Westbrook averages triple double stats for next 2 years and make it 5 years in a row would it make him GOAT?

He still needs to pass Reggie Miller much less Kobe Bryant.

Harden's accomplished more in his last 5 years than Reggie has in his entire career

He has? All those playoff failures and being carried last season by the, supposedly, 2nd best player on the team in the playoffs? If you say so, lad. If you will it, there is no dream.

Gotta look at other things too. Harden in his career already has way more accomplishments. 1x MVP, and has been a runner up twice. Reggie has never cracked the top 10 in MVP votes in his entire 18 years in the NBA. There's more stuff too, but it's not even worth writing it.

Reggie Miller is one of the most overrated players of all time. I was jesting when I said he wasn't better than him. Insulting him. That was the point. It's not hard to greater all time than Reggie Miller.

I agree. He was a good player for sure, but not HOF-level

Do you feel that ANY of this hike in scoring has to do with an increase in
-acquiring skilled European talent
-players becoming even more skilled
-players can actually shoot 3s now
-players are more advanced with offensive scoring
-carrying dribbles are called less
Or is it all just because..."rule changes bro"
