He was only 22 in his first meeting with the Spurs and he brought a team to the finals that had no business being there. We can throw that one out. He was great in 2013 and good in 2014. Overall that nets him a score of very good and a 1-1 record against the Spurs in his prime. I wouldn't exactly call that struggling.

Nice to see morons still using team record to judge individuals. Spurs had the better team 2/3 times pretty simple. An actual answer for why Lebron doesn't play too well vs the Spurs is Pop's defense. It's designed to not give up layups, 3's especially corner ones. Also Spurs don't gamble much with traps etc and usually don't double and are most willing to give up midrange jumpers. That's like the perfect defense vs Lebron lead teams.

One guy was in the prime of his life barely squeaking in the playoffs while the other guy was barely into his 20's leading a team to the finals.
