Not as a lyricist obviously but definitely as a hit maker.

Club bangers pretty much died soon after Nelly. Lil Jon and crunk took over for a minute, but too much crunk is just a headache. Then everything went to techno house electronic shit. Kids in flannel shirts and converse sneakers doing cringey exaggerated leg-movement dancing. Whenever I walked by someone doing that on the dance floor I'd wind up and kick them in the leg and then pretend it was an accident and apologize
