Even if I'm supposed to take all this as a fact (which it isn't), New York still has to beat them too. So if they layed down for the Hawks, they effectively layed down for the Knicks too.

Carmelo Anthony: 27.4 PPG - 7 Free throw attempts = 20.4 PPG

Kevin Durant: 32.0 PPG - 9.9 Free throws attempts = 22.1

If we wanna factor in assists too, Melo averaged 3.1 to Durant's 5.5. Durant as a whole is a better offensive player than Melo, period, the games and the numbers prove it.

Free Throws are still points, and Durant only averaged 3 more than Carmelo. If you were actually wise you'd realize 32 is greater number than 27. There should be no debate over this topic. KD is undeniably the best scorer in the league. Melo is probably #2.

Number 2 scorer is clearly LeBron (and you could argue hes first on terms of pure ability to score) Melo is 3rd
