Devin Harris is a FA in 2013-2014 (he signed an extension the year before he was dealt to NJ fo Kidd)

Kidd can play until he is 41. With his size he can check off guards and allow the shooting guard on Dallas to play the point on defense. That is a major luxury for Dallas having JKidd and those other small guards Dallas absolutely loves (JET, and Barea)

I would love to have Kidd here as long as he is willing to stay. I would hate to see Dallas not sign or extend him because they're trying to acquire new (young) talent, but there seems to be mutual adoration here. Good friends with Dirk, can't be praised enough by Carlisle or Cuban.
