Good question, with the way Kobe was playing last year I think Kobe could definately help them tank. Oh wai t thats not wat you mean?? hehe

Okay real talk. Kobe needs to take less touches/shots on offense. He isn't making the shots he used to will in, with his finesse and athleticism. He just needs to get his roster involved even if it is Nick Young and Bass. This hasn't been Kobe's strategy throughout his career. And last year it led to a slew of bad shots taken. So it begs the question can you teach an old dog new tricks? I can't wait to find out.

jabbar, like Kobe, has sadly become a parody of himself. Every now and then he'll make a hilarious vintage jabbar post, but for the most part everyone just wishes he would hang em up and stop tarnishing his legacy.

If Kobe puts up Duncan numbers while winning, he'll still get sh1tted on. If he puts up 26ppg on 45% and not make the playoffs (in a stacked conference), he'll be sh1tted on.

Kobe gets held to GOAT standards....and it's to his detriment as far as public perception goes.

Yup pretty much he has to play at high level top 5-10 player in league to not get shit on by haters and national media.

And if he doesn't win while being a top 5 player, the hate is considerably worse.

I'm sure he'll muster enough in the tank to jack up 20+ shots per game at the expense of his team.

Decent points due to his skill but on absolutely horrible efficiency.
Detriment to his team on defense.
Lakers don't even come close to making the playoffs.

Should he stay healthy he'll score 40 once or twice.

    That's about it

If Kobe was in a Duncan situation, he'd be vying for the title...but of course, he'd be labeled a sidekick and it wouldn't count.

    Exactly

Nash > Kyrie as a pure point guard
    Howard >>>> Thompson
Gasol >>>>> Love (Gasol actually has a post game)

kyrie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 40 year old nash

    thompson >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> broken back howard

    kevin love in the post >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> pau gasoft ( 24/15/5 vs 18/9/3 ? )

and we never even saw the end result of the 2013 lakers with kobe anyway

kobe technically never lost with them

they had the 2nd best record after the allstar break. then went to sh*t in the playoffs without kobe
