Question Lets discuss Western Conference Playoffs Round 1: Lakers vs Spurs.

A well oiled Kobe system will be facing the regular season machine Popovich system. Who'll be guarding Parker? Who you got to win best of 7?

pd: Can't believe how weak the east is compared to the west...

At the end of the day, Miami is still most likely going to win it all. So there's no need for other projections.

Miami needs to get past Indiana and the Knicks. Before even talking about the Finals. They both have their number.

As much as I would love seeing the Lakers beat the Spurs, I just can't see it play out as us being the victors. We'll fight hard, but the Spurs are too used to playing together. We'll have much better chemistry next season under a matured Kobe System. And this is coming from a die-hard Laker fan.

I'd see the Spurs winning it in 6.

Has the NBA brought in a new rule where the 9th seed plays the 1st seed?
