Default Bulls should sign Ray Allen

And then they should sign Okafor. That would make this a really strong offseason. Not great but really good.

    C: Noah/Taj/Okafor
    PF: Gasol/Mirotic/Taj
    SF: Dunleavy/McDermott/Snell
    SG: Butler/Allen/Snell
    PG: Rose/Hinrich

With the great passing ability of their bigs, they need as many shooters as they can get.

If Snell can take that next step like Butler did then we might have the sufficient amount of shooters this team needs to go all the way.

Rose, Hinrich, Brooks (if he gets PT), Dunleavy, Snell, McBuckets, Mirotic, and Gasol can hit that 16 footer consistently. That's a good amount of guys that can spread the floor.

    Rose-Dunleavy-McDermott-Mirotic-Gasol

I'd like to see that lineup to stretch the leads we can attain.

Mavs reached out to him recently with a 2.7 million offer.

Because of our grind it out style, and our often close games in the playoffs, a guy like ray Allen is a player we could benefit from.

One or two big shots here and there could be the difference between winning or losing.

good point about the grind out style. Plus the Bulls ran a pretty similar single- double and curl plays for Korver before, so there it shouldn't be a huge adjustment for Allen and the Bulls.

Okafor would have been a very good center for any team but my biggest concern is his inability to stay healthy and available to help.
Not a lot of choices tho. It seems like the only other alternative is Ryan Hollins. The guy is very limited offensively but he has some quickness and athletism.

I'd say one is almost certain to go to the cavs and the other guy will sign with the mags or cavs.

Allen says he was thinking about retiring but wants to play another season. I still say he should go to the Bulls.

    Think about that roster:

    C: Noah/Taj
    PF: Gasol/Mirotic
    SF: Dunleavy/McDermott
    SG: Butler/Snell/Allen
    PG: Rose/Brooks/Hinrich

I still see him going to the Cavs, but having Thibs here certainly helps because of their relationship.

Hopefully he considers us because it would be a very good fit. We wouldn't ask him to play a bunch of minutes, he knows Thibs and knows his system and we would use his strengths to maximize his time on the floor.

The more shooting we have the better and it would compliment our slashers and passers very well.

    We'll see.
